Born from a dream…
Using vintage textbook images in both colour and lino printing style, the Botanical Grace Tarot was born. The botanical images I chose to represent each card was from feeling alone; you will notice that THE FOOL begins with just a vine, while THE WORLD explodes into a bouquet of butterflies. All Major Arcana cards are vintage full colour textbook images of flowers.
For the Minor Arcana, I use the elements associated with the suits rather than the suits themselves: Swords is Air, Pentacles is Earth, Cups is Water, and Wands is Fire. I picked a vintage botanical image in black that I felt resonated with the natural element and multiplied it depending on the card number.
For the Court Cards, I picked a specific vintage symbol to pair with each card: King is a large crown, Queen is a delicate crown, Knight is a lion’s face, Page is a fleur de lys.
In addition, all Minor Arcana cards have a splash of watercolour whose colour corresponds to the element, while the Major Arcana cards have a splash of watercolour that is consistent across all the cards. Keywords under each “figure” help kickstart your intuitive understanding of each card.
The deck comes with a PDF download of the guidebook. The guidebook for this deck is complete: every card in the Tarot has an herbal attribute, so I included that along with its usage, a brief card description, and even a journal prompt for each card.

Because of my printing experience with my Kickstarter deck Rider Waite Renewed, I have made some alterations on the final edition so I could continue to use this manufacturer. It’s hard to trust anyone else after my amazing experience with this Italian producer, and so I’ve made some alterations to suit their specifications.
The box made of SOFT CARDBOARD with a matte, casket design. It is not cheap, it is beautiful! But choosing soft cardboard allowed me to keep costs lower.
Cards are printed on a special 330 gr/sqm triplex paper of casino quality, assuring zero transparency. Easy to shuffle and resistant to wear-out. They are standard Tarot size (70mmx120mm). THIS CARDSTOCK FEELS THIN BUT IS VERY HIGH QUALITY! It is the same cardstock used by Lo Scarabeo on their fancier decks. The shuffle of this cardstock is PHENOMENAL. DO NOT GET THIS DECK IF YOU DON’T LIKE THINNER FEELING CARDSTOCK. It is not cheap! But it’s not to everyone’s tastes!
Shipping is included in the listing prices – shipping is UNTRACKED GROUND MAIL IN A DOUBLE BUBBLE ENVELOPE – this is not covered for losses or damage, this includes the box.
